Kasabi Hackday is underway

Dan Smith at the Drawing BoardThis is a very exciting day in Kasabi’s story. It’s the first time we’ve had the chance to show Kasabi to non-Talisians, and we’ve done it in the form of a hackday.

So, there are 20 or so invited experts here all building on top of datasets and APIs within Kasabi. It’s been a fairly quiet morning, as keyboards are tapped, sketches drawn, and whispered questions are asked about data, queries, and occasionally for more coffee. They’re putting the datasets and access tools through their paces, and are the first people to use the site itself (so they’re also helping us see which bits of the UI work, which don’t, and what’s needed to fuel the Beta development).

Now the pizzas have arrived, and it’s bubbling up. I’m hoping to see what people have been building soon.
