Culture Hack Day

Our second themed hackday is very nearly upon us, and a few spaces have become available. We’ll be meeting up this Wednesday to build on top of cultural datasets in central London. A bunch of datasets that can be hacked upon have been featured here on the blog, and there will be some new sets ready for the day (and you can publish yours too, of course!). There will also be some prizes or teams which manage to publish their hacks (or datasets) during the day.

So if you fancy joining us at 76 Portland Place, you can register here. There is no cost for the tickets, just a headcount for lunch and coffee (specially-blended for us by our friends at Union Hand Roasted coffee :) ).

We’ll be forming teams early on, so folk can concentrate on their apps, and we’ll also have some online collaboration to allow people to drop in with ideas, hacks and data throughout the day. I’ll post a link to a Google Hangout on twitter (@TeamKasabi) and the developers’ list, and we’ll be on IRC (#kasabi on freenode.net) too.

So, I look forward to meeting up on Wednesday!
