JS London We’re sponsoring the first Automn Hackathon in London this weekend: a Javascript, JSON, and Node.js gathering at the Central Working. As I write, some spaces are still available.

The Autumn Hackathon is the first in a series of technology hack days, bringing together developers to pool their talents to create new ideas and applications. Judges including leading entrepreneurs & developers will be awarding prizes including £4000 worth of legal services from a top technology law firm. Entries will be judged on innovation, commercial potential, usefulness & fun factor.

A few of us from Kasabi will be there, and it is a great opportunity to see people using the latest in their Javascript skills around structured data projects. It might be helpful to remember that Kasabi is a home for data, and provides APIs for each set, so getting data ready for hacking is very straightforward. You can also use Linked Data queries (SPARQL), and get the data out as JSON.

If you have some ideas for the hackday, and have data you’d like to build on, now’s your chance to get it ready for the weekend’s hacking in London.
